Manas (The Mind) in Chennai International Film Festival

Manas (The Mind), a Malayalam-language feature film, has been honored with an official selection at the prestigious Chennai International Film Festival 2023 (CIFF) in the World Cinema Competition Category. The movie delves into the intricate tale surrounding surrogacy and the complex emotional nuances it entails.

Directed and produced by the Mr. Babu Thiruvalla, known for his impactful works such as 'Amaram,' 'Oru Minnaminunginte Nurungu Vettam,' and 'Thanichalla Njan,' the film boasts a stellar cast including Sheelu Abraham, Manoj K Jayan, Asokan, Karthik Sankar, and Krittika Pradeep.

The CIFF stands as a prominent film festival in India, curated by the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation with the backing of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
