Soochana (Hints of Survival)

Karuvattakkary, a beautiful village in Kerala became breeding ground for cancer and other diseases due to the overuse of pesticides. Dr. Janaki Angamaya, the health officer at Karuvattakkary and her friend Sita Raman, a research assistant and documentary maker tries their best to make this village pesticide free. Appayi, who is the leader of the labourers is a staunch supporter of pesticide use. However, his life takes a drastic turn when his own daughter dies of cancer.
